2017.. in a Nutshell!

So as I sit here reminiscing about the year gone by, I see shades of all colors. Red, green, blue and black. Quite a roller-coaster ride this year had been. Definitely did not touch the highest highs, but there were lows that were pretty close to being the lowest. What they were, well, that would be written sometime else!

Made few really good friends, friends that can be cherished for life! And I am truly thankful for having met each one of them. Learned a lot from the people around me. Personally and in the office. I guess the most I have learned about is human behavior. Learned a lot about myself as well.

Few things that I wouldn’t have imagined in my wildest dreams, I saw them play out before me. Was weird but I guess that’s what life is. Unexpected things happening at unexpected times.

Went on a great trip. Physically tiring, maybe, but mentally refreshing and soothing. Never had I thought I would walk for kilometers in search of Jalebis!! Floating in the icy cold water of the Ganges, thinking about nothing, feeling the sun on my face as my body was being carried around by the river. Sitting at the ghats, watching the ramleela, sitting at the hotel balcony feeling the cold splash of air on my face! Has to be highest high of the entire year.

Some very..very tough choices had to be made. But at such times you do what you have to. To keep moving forward. To tread into uncharted lands, leaving behind the known and familiar territories. And since I have jumped into it, we shall see where it takes me. Probably be a part of the next years memoir!
