A little nervous, a whole lot hesitant,
Not sure what to say and what not to,
When to say when not to,
Working your best,
On everything coming your way,
But living in your shell,
Hardly ever coming out.
Self-doubts and a million inhibitions,
Stealing your sheen,
A little nudge is all you need,
To come out and explore the world,
And let it know of your presence too!
A little nudge is all you need,
To shake the disbelief in yourself,
And spread your wings,
A little nudge is all you need,
To finally flap those wings,
And take off the ground,
To sore high above where the clouds are
To the lands far away.
This flight you’ll take,
Will shed away,
All the reluctance, reticence, and diffidence within,
And infuse you with conviction, self-belief, and confidence.
And when your feet next touch the ground,
You will be a force to reckon with,
An Eagle, majestic and fierce!
Ready to take on the world!
Just what I needed to hear( and read ) on a Monday morning!
